Recreational Programs

is a team of recreational gymnasts that travel throughout the city and put on displays at various events promoting both the Calgary Gymnastics Centre and the sport.  This program runs Tuesday and Thursday s for 1 ˝ hours from September to the end of June excluding holidays.  The coach to child ratio of this program is 2:20.  Because the Gymfest and Gymnaestrada da events take place on a non sprung 40x40 floor this program only uses one of the gymnastics events: floor.  In the past we have done displays at the Calgary Cannons, The Stampeders, Calaway Park, South Centre Mall and have also participated annually in Alberta’s Gymfest.  Gymfest is a recreational program for ages 8 and up.  Please see or call the front office for more information on this program and how to try out.
