Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2010 Location: Calgary, Alberta SKILL REQUIREMENTS Education: Completion of high school, completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training. Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Level 3 Certificate in Coaching. Experience: 5 years or more Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English. Sports Concentration:Gymnastics Work Setting: Community-based, International sports organization, National sports association, Regional sports club, Local sports club. Specific Job Skills: Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions. Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games. Participate in coaching clinic instruction, analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance. Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance. Must have extensive experience developing high level gymnasts. Security and Safety: Criminal record and child abuse registry check. Work Site Environment: Non-smoking. Transportation/Travel Information:Valid driver's licence, with own transporation. Public transportation is available. Willing to travel out of country.
