CGC Performed extremely well at the annual Airborne Invitational held in Okotoks on March 3rd and 4th. Congratulations to all athletes who competed.

Sydney Sawa – Congratulations!

Sydney has been successful in qualifying for World Championships this year. Sydney is the first CGC Women’s Artistic gymnast to do so and only the third ever from this Province to qualify.

Began Gymnastics:  3 years old

Sydney Sawa made great strides in 2005-2006, moving up to second all around in the junior competition at the Canadian championships in May. She also won medals on beam and uneven bars in the individual competition for her best overall result to date. Look for Sydney to play a key role for Canada at the Pan American Junior Championships where she will be a threat in all events.
