Come learn, practice, and perfect your pullover with us. If you are having trouble with your pullover or interested in trying a pullover for the first time this fun 1-hour workshop is for you. Coaches will use drills and progressions to improve the strength and body positioning necessary to perform a pullover.
Join our team of experienced coaches to learn, practice, and perfect balancing on your hands in this 1-hour workshop. Handstands are a fundamental skill in gymnastics and get used on every event! Coaches will work with participants on various drills and exercises to develop the flexibility, balance, and strength needed to do a handstand. By working on each of these components participants will improve their technique and gain the confidence to balance on their hands.
A cartwheel is a fun gymnastics skill! In this 1 hour class participants will work on the flexibility, strength, and coordination necessary to complete a cartwheel. Coaches will use drills and progressions to help all participants from the beginning stages of their cartwheels to perfecting the fine details.
A back walkover is an important skill for gymnasts and dancers. If you are able to hold yourself up in a back bridge and would like to learn how to do a back walkover, come join us for this 1-hour workshop. Participants will work on building the flexibility, strength, and coordination necessary to do a back walkover and will be given the opportunity to practice and perfect their technique and form.
If you are interested in learning how to do a front handspring, this class is for you! For one hour, participants will work on drills and exercises to build the body awareness, power, and strength necessary to spring from their hands to their feet. This workshop is also a great opportunity for participants with experience working on front handsprings to practice and perfect their technique and performance of this skill.
Prerequisite: You must be in CanGym Badge 5+ (Purple+) class or CanJump Level 5+ class
A back handspring is a great gymnastics skill to show off! This 1-hour workshop is an excellent opportunity to learn, practice, or perfect your back handspring. With the help of coaches and equipment, participants will work on developing the strength and flexibility necessary to spring backwards onto their hands and back to their feet. Coaches will assist participants in learning the correct form, technique, and performance of a back handspring.
Prerequisite: You must be in CanGym Badge 5+ (Purple+) class or CanJump Level 5+ class.
